V. Further Use of Functions on Our Website

In addition to purely informational use, our website offers various services that you can use, for example, sending our newsletter. You usually have to provide further personal data for this, which is required to use the respective service. Additional voluntary information is marked accordingly, if available.

VI. Use of Our Webshop

1. When ordering in our webshop, you can choose to provide the data required for your order only once for the current order or to create a customer account to save your data for future purchases. If you do not wish to do this, we will only store your data for the purpose of fulfilling the contract and delete it as soon as we are no longer legally obliged to store it. Mandatory information required to process the contracts is marked accordingly. All other information is voluntary. If you create a customer account under "My Account", the data you provide there will be stored until revoked. You can delete the account at any time via the customer area.

2. To process your order, we collect personal data in accordance with Section I.1 of this privacy policy. The responsible party according to Section I.2 of this privacy policy is Leomat AG.

3. Insofar as this is necessary to fulfill the contractual services owed by Leomat AG, personal data of Leomat AG will be collected and stored. In order to be able to deliver goods to you, we will pass on your data to the commissioned shipping company, insofar as this is necessary for delivery. Further use (e.g., for sending our email newsletter) will only take place with your consent.

4. To make a payment via PayPal, a customer must register at https://www.paypal.com/de/home. PayPal's terms of use apply. PayPal is responsible for your payment data entered on the PayPal homepage.

5. If you select the payment method "Credit Card/MAESTRO", your payment data collected by us will be transmitted to the corresponding payment service provider, depending on the type of card you selected. The payment service provider is responsible for your payment data.

6. In addition, we will forward your data to the respective payment service provider for an identity check. If a contract is concluded, we will only store the information that the check was successful.

VII. Use of Cookies

1. When using this website, Leomat AG uses so-called "cookies" which are stored on your computer. The purpose of "cookies" is to make our internet offering more user-friendly and effective. A "cookie" is a small text file that is stored by your browser on your hard drive and then transmits certain data to the entity that set the cookie (in this case, we, Leomat AG). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer.

2. We use cookies to identify you on subsequent visits if you have registered an account with us. Otherwise, you would have to log in again with each visit.

3. This website uses cookies to the following extent:
- Transient cookies (temporary scope)
- Persistent cookies (time-limited scope)

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, so-called session cookies, which store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you visit our website again. If you log out or close your browser, the session cookies are deleted.
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a predetermined period. This can vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time via your browser's security settings.

4. For example, to refuse the acceptance of third-party cookies or cookies in general, you can configure your browser accordingly. However, you may then not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

VIII. Newsletter

1. Registration for our newsletter uses the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will send you a confirmation email after you have provided your email address. In it, we ask you to confirm within 24 hours that you wish to receive the newsletter. If this confirmation is not received, your registration will be automatically deleted. If you confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter, we will store your email address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The storage serves the sole purpose of sending you the newsletter. To prevent misuse of your data, we also store your IP address and the respective times at the time of registration and confirmation.

2. Only the email address is required for sending the newsletter. Further information is voluntary, marked accordingly, and will only be used to personalize the newsletter. Upon revocation, this data will also be completely deleted.

3. You can revoke your consent to receive our newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made by clicking on the link included in the newsletter, by email to info@leomat.ch or by sending a message to the contact details provided in Section I.2. The data you provide will not be passed on to third parties. Your consent has the following wording:

YES, I agree to receive a newsletter tailored to my personal interests. Personalization is carried out by evaluating my user behavior using web beacons (tracking pixels) and your email address, which can be linked to an individual identifier. We record when you read our newsletter, which links you click on, and draw conclusions about your potential personal interests from this. This data is linked to actions you have performed on our website. We do not combine this information with other information and only store it in Germany. You can revoke this consent at any time, whereupon the user data collected from you will be deleted.

4. We hereby inform you that your user behavior is analyzed when the newsletter is sent. For this purpose, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons ("tracking pixels"). These are one-pixel image files that are linked to our website. This enables us to analyze your user behavior, which is done by collecting the data mentioned in section IV of this privacy policy and web beacons assigned to your email address, which are linked to your individual identifier. From the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile with which we can provide you with a newsletter with content tailored to your interests. In this context, we record when you read the newsletter, which links you click on, and draw conclusions about your personal interests. We also link this data with actions you have taken on our website. Information that we collect in this way is stored by Leomat AG on a server in Germany. You can object to this tracking at any time via the link included in every email or via the contact options mentioned in paragraph 3.

IX. Web Tracking; Use of Google Analytics

1. This website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics of the company Google Inc. Google Analytics uses certain text files, so-called "cookies", which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. Information regarding your usage, generated by cookies, is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is active on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google in EU member states or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional cases. Google uses this information on behalf of Leomat AG to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on your activity on the website and to provide Leomat AG with further services related to the use of the website and the Internet.

2. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

3. By setting your browser configuration accordingly, you can prevent the storage of cookies; however, you may then not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

4. Furthermore, you can object to the collection of your website usage and the data generated via cookies (including your IP address) and their processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de .

5. This website uses Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension. This extension truncates IP addresses before further processing, which excludes direct linking to individual persons.

6. Google Analytics is used within the legal framework agreed upon for the use of the software by the German data protection authorities in cooperation with Google. Third-party contact details: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001. X. Social Media Plug-ins

1. We currently use the following social media plug-ins:

2. In this context, we use the so-called 2-click solution. When you visit our site, no personal data is passed on via these plug-ins. The plug-ins are marked with the initial letters of the respective providers, and only if you click on one of these plug-ins will data be transmitted that can be linked to your person. After clicking on the plug-in, the data is automatically forwarded to the corresponding provider and stored there (on servers in the USA for US providers). We have no influence on the data collected and the processing operations. Furthermore, we are not aware of the scope, purpose of data collection, and storage periods. Data collection by plug-in providers takes place primarily via cookies. Therefore, before clicking on the corresponding plug-in, you should remove all cookies via your browser's security settings.

3. After activating a plug-in, its provider is informed about your visit to the corresponding subpage on our website. In addition, the data mentioned in Section IV of this privacy policy is transmitted. According to company information, only the anonymized IP address is transmitted to Facebook in Germany. The transmission does not depend on whether you have an account with the corresponding plug-in provider or are logged in there. If this is the case, the transmitted data is directly linked to your account. Similarly, if you click on the plug-in button (for example, when linking to the page), this information is also stored and assigned to your user account. This will be publicly communicated to your contacts. To prevent your profile from being assigned to you by the corresponding plug-in provider, you must log out there before activating the button.

4. This data is stored by the plug-in provider as usage profiles and used for marketing purposes, market research, and/or website design. This evaluation takes place in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the purpose of personalized marketing and to inform other users of the corresponding page about your visit to our website. You can object to the creation of such user profiles with the respective plug-in provider.

5. For what purpose and to what extent your data is collected and processed by the plug-in provider can be found in the privacy policies of the individual providers, which you can find below. Further information on your rights and configuration options for protecting your data can also be found there.

6. Addresses of the respective plug-in providers and URL with their privacy notices:

XI. Rights of the User and Other Affected Persons

If you have a user account, you can view and change all information concerning you in the "User Account" section on the Leomat AG website. As information such as name, gender, or date of birth is necessary to identify users, any change to this data must be approved by Leomat AG. Information on order history and, in particular, event-specific consents can also be viewed and edited via the user account.
You have a right to information regarding your data and can request access to and rectification of your data. Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data and/or to request Leomat AG to delete and/or restrict the use of your personal data. If the processing of personal data is based on prior consent, you can withdraw this consent at any time.
In specific cases, data subjects in EU or EEA countries have the right to receive the data generated during the use of online services in a structured, common, and machine-readable format that allows further processing and transmission.
If you have any questions about these rights, you can contact the person named in Section I.2.

XII. Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form thus takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by email to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

XIII. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be adjusted or changed by Leomat AG at any time without prior notice or announcement. The version published on the website www.leomat.ch is current and valid.

If the privacy policy is part of an agreement with users or other persons, they will be informed of the change by Leomat AG by email or other suitable means when an update occurs. If no objection is made within 30 days, the new privacy policy will be deemed agreed. In the event of an objection, Leomat AG has the right to terminate the agreement in whole or in part extraordinarily and without notice, or to restrict or adjust services to the affected person in order to respond appropriately to the refusal of consent.
